Tom Odell celebrates the beauty of imperfection with ‘Ugly’

With 'Ugly', Tom Odell once again proves that vulnerability can be a strength. The third single from his upcoming album 'A Wonderful Life' (out September 5) is a stripped-back, captivating ballad that opens with gentle guitar and vocals, slowly building with piano and drums until it bursts into raw emotion.

In the song, Odell lays bare his own insecurities about his appearance: “You don’t love me / ’Cause I’m ugly / I wish that I was beautiful.”

'A Wonderful Life' features ten brand-new tracks and will shine even brighter on stage during his European tour. On December 4, Odell will perform at the AFAS Dome (Sportpaleis) in Antwerp, joined by support acts David Kushner and Delilah Montagu.
