Lady Gaga surprises with new track in Netflix hit Wednesday
05.08.2025
Lady Gaga is back. Not with a flamboyant stadium anthem or a bombastic soundtrack ballad, but with a dark, danceable track that fits perfectly into Tim Burton’s universe. 'Dead Dance' is the name of the new song the pop chameleon wrote for the second season of the wildly popular Netflix series 'Wednesday'.
The song and accompanying music video are expected to drop on September 3, coinciding with Gaga’s debut in the series as Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary teacher at Nevermore Academy. The track — if the first trailers are anything to go by — sounds like a darker sibling of 'Bloody Mary', the Gaga hit that went viral in season one thanks to Jenna Ortega’s iconic dance scene.
Fans have more to look forward to than just a Netflix stream. On November 11, 2025, Lady Gaga will play an exclusive show at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp (soon to be renamed AFAS Dome).
