Major traffic disruption around AFAS Dome and Lotto Arena from 24 October to 11 November

09.10.2025

Planning to visit AFAS Dome or Lotto Arena during the autumn holidays or the extended 11 November weekend in 2025? Please note that there will be major traffic disruptions on the Antwerp Ring in both directions.

Due to works on the new Bypass and the preparation of additional phases, fewer lanes will be available and lower speed limits will apply. Heavy congestion is expected in both directions, especially between Merksem and Berchem.

To avoid delays, we recommend allowing extra travel time or, if possible, choosing alternative means of transport such as public transport or cycling.

Choose alternative mobility options

We strongly advise against travelling to AFAS Dome or Lotto Arena by car between 24 October and 11 November. There are plenty of alternative ways to reach the venue.
